This Privacy Policy explains our privacy practices for the use of the FTI Consulting N-Site web portal (“N-Site”).

Why and what data does FTI Consulting collect?

You will be required to provide us with your name and email address as part of the registration process for N-Site. FTI Consulting is the controller of such personal data. 

Whenever we process your personal data, we rely on a specific lawful basis. The processing of your personal data for the purpose of managing your subscription to N-Site will be justified on the basis that FTI Consulting has a legitimate interest in controlling who has access to N-Site as there are controls around who can access N-Site and how the content of the site can be used. Only authorised users should have access.  It is necessary to collect some limited personal data to do this, and doing so does not unduly prejudice your interests, fundamental rights or freedoms.

We may also process your personal data for marketing purposes to send you insights, information, materials and invites relating to the services of FTI Consulting and/or other N-Site panel members. We consider that we have a legitimate interest to use your personal data for these marketing purposes considering your interest in N-Site, the materials published on the site and the connection with related services that we and other N-Site panel members offer. Who might FTI Consulting share your data with?

FTI Consulting may disclose and share some of your data with other companies of the FTI Consulting Group.

FTI Consulting may also disclose and share your data with other N-Site panel members for marketing purposes, as detailed above. Panel members refers to the Expert firms who contribute content to N-Site and its supporting firms – a full list of which can be found here: https://n-site.co.uk/about-n-site/. Such panel members will operate as separate and independent controllers of your personal data for such purposes and the processing will be subject to the terms of each panel members’ own privacy policy which FTI Consulting cannot guarantee as providing the same or no less than equivalent protection as the standards that FTI Consulting applies to its own processing. However, FTI Consulting uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that appropriate protection is afforded to any data shared with the panel members and that data is processed in accordance with applicable law.

In the unlikely event that we receive a lawful request for disclosure, we may also share your personal data with a court, regulator or law enforcement agency. Except as described above, FTI Consulting will not otherwise share your personal data with any other third party.
