GNP 5: Unified Patent Court and Unitary Patent in Europe

The new Unified Patent Court (UPC) and Unitary Patent in Europe is perhaps one of the most significant developments in patent law in several decades. A completely new court is being established to decide actions on infringement and validity of patents across many European states in a single action. A corresponding new unitary patent right will also be established also.
