Robert Mbaziira
Executive Search Lead
Robert has been with Virdis as a talented researcher since 2017. Before joining, Robert was Commonwealth Professional Fellow, responsible for new Teacher Support Teams based in the UK, after building a career in human resources within the voluntary sector in sub-Saharan Africa, based in Uganda.
Robert was a member of the Advisory Board and a Consultant for ‘Shape Your World’ organization, developing Volunteering programmes with VSO and also DFCU Bank and Water Aid in Uganda; and he was the human resources lead for the professional volunteers and placement programme at The Mildmay Centre, a specialist HIV/AIDS treatment, palliative care, rehabilitation and training centre. As a training consultant, he was involved in workshops for Affirmative Action and its impact on Democracy, organized by the Pan-African Women’s Liberation Organization.
Robert has a BA in Economics & Linguistics from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda.
